Dr Griksaitis is a paediatric intensivist based in Southampton. He is the clinical lead for the Southampton Oxford Retrieval Team (SORT). He has a particular interest in paediatric cardiac patients and the transport of critically ill and injured children.
He is national chair of the Paediatric Intensive Care Society Acute Transport Group (PICS-ATG). Dr Griksaitis is passionate about teaching and training, both at an undergraduate and postgraduate level.
He holds an honorary senior lecturer position at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton.
He is a Founding member of the Children’s Acute Ultrasound (CACTUS) group.
