Dusan Raffaj is a Paediatric Intensivist working in tertiary PICU and acute paediatric transport service.
Interested mainly in paediatric point of care ultrasound and CRRT. Founding member of UK Children’s Acute Ultrasound point of care program (CACTUS), established in 2017 and endorsed by PCCS UK; also active member of ESPNIC paediatric POCUS working group.
Developing and practising renal replacement techniques involving different anticoagulation drugs, vascular access variations and interested in very small babies CRRT.
Also clinical lead for Children Medical Transport (CoMET) service operated in area of East Midland in UK, transporting critically ill children to and in between PICUs. Enthusiastic and keen teacher.
